1. What kind of gold or jewelry will you accept?
We generally accept ALL items sent to us and
guarantee to have your check sent to you within 24 hours. For
some examples of gold and jewelry we have received, please visit
our What We Buy page.
2. Is the Trusted Gold Buyer™ Kit free?
'Yes! And the best part is, you are under no
obligation to send us your scrap gold or jewelry, even if you
have already requested a Trusted Gold Buyer™ Kit. Shipping
is also pre-paid if you do decide to send us your gold or jewelry.
3. I have fine jewelry and would like some extra security
in terms of packaging. Must I use my own packaging or will you
supply me with extra packaging materials?
Our standard Trusted Gold Buyer™ Kit comes
with a very heavy duty, DuPont Tyvek bag. While these bags will
generally be enough for any item you wish to send us, if you
have any concerns, please call us at 1-888-920-5111 and we can
assist you in determining if you need additional packaging materials.
4. Is the Trusted Gold Buyer™ Kit insured in case
it gets lost/damaged by the postal service?
As found in our Terms and Conditions, we insure each of our Quality
Gold Buyer™ Kits in case of lost items. The maximum value of
the insurance is $80 US.'
5. How will I know when you've received my gold/jewelry?
After waiting 10 business days (allowing your
gold or jewelry to reach us), we ask that you call our toll-free
number and speak with a customer service representative. They
will be able to determine if and when we received the Quality
Gold Buyer™ Kit from you and when we mailed your check.
6. How much will you pay for my gold?
Our prices depend on the content of the gold and the weight of the
gold.
7. What if I am not satisfied with my payment?
If you are unhappy with your payment, do not worry. Simply return
the check you received to us within 10 days and we will return
your gold or jewelry, no questions asked.
8. Can I use my own packaging?
Yes you can. If you prefer to not have to wait to
receive a Trusted Gold Buyer™ Kit from us, feel free to use

9. I have a piece of gold but I'm not sure its authentic.
Can I still receive money for this?
Trusted Gold Buyer™ has a team of expert staff on hand to determine
the value of gold and jewelry sent to us. We ask that you please
do not send us items that you are certain are not authentic.
